'The Woman Before' is a magical realism play by Roland Schimmelpfennig. The story is built up by a mysterious woman ringing the doorbell to claim her love, a mid-age couple facing their marriage crisis while preparing moving, and an young couple spending their last night before departing. With unique sequence in time, audience understands different stages of the story with surprises. The play provides massive serious questions no matter technical, aesthetics or philosophical ones.
